Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC)

The Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) is a standard measure indicating the amount of sound absorption a surface, such as a ceiling tile, provides. It's typically expressed as a percentage or decimal. A value of 1 (or 100%) signifies complete absorption, while 0 (or 0%) means total reflection. Essentially, the higher the percentage or decimal, the greater the tile's sound absorption capacity.

Soniguard™ Drop Ceiling Insulation

Soniguard™ Drop Ceiling Insulation offers thermal-bonded, non-woven batting made from polyester fiber that is skin-safe. Each batt measures 24 x 24 x 1.5 inches, with two batts recommended for a 24 x 48 inch panel. Do not install beneath fire sprinklers.
