Our Products Are Made in the USA
Our vinyl panels are made right here in the USA—in Sonoma County, California. They are created by a process called thermoforming. Sheets of plastic are heated until they are pliable, then are formed into shape on a mold. They are cooled then trimmed into the tiles you know and love. It’s like sculpting with plastic.
We Are Committed to Safety
Our vinyl tiles boast a Class A rating for flame spread, smoke development, and surface burning characteristics—essentially the gold standard as designated by ASTM International (American Society for Testing and Materials). Translation? You're covered in case of a fire.
Even if you're not expecting to give your ceiling a scrub-down anytime soon, our vinyl tiles are totally washable. Plus, they meet all the standards set by the FDA and the USDA, making them perfect for spaces where food and pharmaceuticals are handled.
But here's the real deal: we're all about offering an upgrade from those outdated fiberboard ceiling tiles. Unlike those flimsy options that shed silica fibers over time and are prone to breaking, staining, and sagging, our vinyl tiles are the epitome of strength and durability. All of Cast & Bevel’s ceiling panels and tiles went through a thorough testing for all sorts of chemicals like formaldehyde, particulates, ozone, carbon monoxide, and other emissions. We wanted to make sure there weren’t any health issues, irritations, or funky smells.
We were awarded a Greenguard Gold Certification, UL 28-2802013. Greenguard certified products are considered safe for sensitive populations, schools, and healthcare facilities.
For builders, architects, and designers, this means you can earn credits for programs like LEED, CHPS, NAHB Green Building Guidelines, and more.
We Are Environmentally Responsible
When it comes to recycling, we're pros. We take post-manufacturing waste and old ceiling tiles and turn them into new vinyl tiles. Our Tin, Copper, Bronze, and Cherry Wood finishes are 98% post-industrial recycled material.
Did we mention? All our tiles are proudly made right here in the USA, creating jobs and slashing the environmental impact of international shipping.
Plus, compared to those mineral fiber tiles you see everywhere (more on this in a minute), ours require way less raw material, weigh less, and take up less space during shipping—making them super eco-friendly from start to finish.
